Donk is a London born and based photographer, print maker and street artist, working within the paste-up tradition.
In 2008 he assumed the pseudonym 'Donk', and started to explore a street art application of his work, pasting his images up onto the streets of London and
elsewhere.
Donk's images are regularly inhabited by his family & friends who take on various roles within the work, and often allude to aspects of growing up or the journey from innocence to more adult awareness.
The images remix urban culture and history across a time line of his own making,
at once referencing the past and the contemporary to make playful and anachronistic connections between universal themes of human strength, vulnerability and the passage of time.
