Chum101 started at the young age of 12, with fellow Urban Miniatures artist SheOne in their first crew, The Majestic Outlaws, back in 1985. Over the decades his output has found expression through subverting other tools beyond the spraycan, drawing with a sewing machine in graffiti embroideries, engraving leather, as featured in the V&A, even Sand Sculpture! Along with his partner, in the late '90's, he ran groundbreaking and era defining club nights at the ICA, Shoreditch and Bristol. Before their creative relationship expanded again in the 2000's, into the cult Street Culture Art Fashion brand, I-Saw. Exhibiting and selling internationally before the two settled down and started a family. Meanwhile Chum101's consistent years in the graffiti scene now see him in Crews alongside childhood heroes, like Zaki (TCA), Snatch PFB/CWS), Jadell (CWS/IKA) in their crew, The Others. As well as sharing the honour with Jadell and other UK writers of representing original 1970's NY Stylewriting Crew, The Death Squad (TDS)!! Elsewhere a late discovery of love and natural skill for oil painting, has scene a series developing, based on London's first Tube Writing generation.
